Acacia dealbata is an invasive species that is presently invading some areas in Área de Paisagem Protegida da Serra do Açor (APPSA). The present study is developed in conformity with control actions that aim to control A. dealbata in APPSA. In this context it is proposed to: 1) study the effects of A. dealbata at soil level and 2) follow up areas where A. dealbata was removed, monitoring recovery at soil level. For these purposes, microbiological and chemical analyses will be performed in areas with and without A. dealbata.
