It brings together national and international experts in the agri-food and nutritional areas, as well as global leaders, to delve deeper into the most recent themes that encompass the journey from farm to plate.

The "FARM to FORK" congress follows the collaborative networks and research activities developed within the scope of the integrated IC&DT CULTIVAR program. It brings together national and international experts in the agri-food and nutritional areas, as well as global leaders, to delve deeper into the most recent themes that encompass the journey from farm to fork.

The CULTIVAR skills network, financed by the Centro 2020 Operational Program, was led by the coordinator of the Center for Functional Ecology at the University of Coimbra, Helena Freitas, and had as partners the Pedro Nunes Institute, the Agrofood Technological Support Center and the Castelo Polytechnic Institute White. The CULTIVAR project (2019-2023) aimed to respond to the challenges faced by the agri-food sector in the Central region using a territorial development strategy based on the characterization, conservation and valorization of endogenous genetic resources.
