Submission of proposals until July 31st .

The objective of this meeting will be to bring together researchers who work on topics related to industry and technical and industrial heritage, interested in interdisciplinary collaborations, in the relationship of their research with issues of sustainability of territories and participatory processes or actions and the involvement of people or organized groups whenever possible beyond the academic context.

With this meeting, EPPIC intends to contribute to a prospective reflection on industrial heritage and current ways of collaborating in its study, safeguarding and preservation.

In preparing the program for this meeting, EPPIC aims to emphasise approaches related to the Setúbal district region.

We encourage researchers to explore a few topics in particular:

- Living industry and processes for recognizing new heritage

- From the impacts of deindustrialization to new uses of post-industrial sites

- Industrial heritage, sustainable development and climate action

- Industrial and technical heritage: what to expect from museums and archives

Submission of proposals until July 31st (according to the model indicated on the website).
