UC Exploratório opens this Friday, November 24th; the exhibition Small Treasures: Fish Larvae from the Azores, a collection of photographs of fish larvae from the UNESCO Biosphere Reserves of the Azores and the sample collection process.
Since 2003, researchers from the Marine Research Lab of the Center for Functional Ecology - Science for People & the Planet and the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Coimbra have been studying ichthyoplankton communities in estuarine and coastal areas, analyzing their composition and relationship with key environmental factors and climate change.
This new exhibition at the Science Photo Gallery aims to present a fundamental research project to all audiences to expand knowledge and better management and conservation of marine ecosystems.
