Film presentation and round table.
As part of the "Life After Fire" project, which studied the importance of seed dispersal in forest recovery after a fire, a short animation was produced involving a network of researchers, animators, illustrators, and science communicators.
This round table is not just about presenting the short animation film, but also about delving into the creative process and exploring the biggest challenges encountered.
What are the steps involved? What are the most significant difficulties in visually communicating science? What are the advantages of an animation video? These and many other questions will be debated in a multidisciplinary session that will be attended by researchers Ruben Heleno (CFE) and Sérgio Timóteo (CFE), producer Nuno André (Ação 360) and illustrator Ana Figueiredo. Moderation will be in charge of science communicator Miguel Ferreira.
The action is part of the Ecology Day 2024 celebrations.
