Experiência

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Plant Biotechnology and Biodiversity at the University of Coimbra.

My work focuses on plant–microorganism interactions, particularly arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), and their role in sustainable agriculture and soil health. I have experience in laboratory and greenhouse research, including AMF spore isolation, propagation, and microscopy-based assessment of root colonization.

I was awarded a research initiation scholarship within the VALERECO project, where I further developed my skills in applied research. Additionally, I completed a summer internship at the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Prague), gaining experience in an international research environment.

More recently, I have been working on microbial inoculants and seed coating technologies, with a focus on the effects of environmental stress on microbial viability.
