Experiência

Miguel Moreira graduated in Environmental Engineering with a major in Ecological Engineering, at the School of Science and Technology - NOVA University of Lisbon, Portugal, and holds a PhD in River Restoration and Management, developed at the research centre CERIS (Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability), at Instituto Superior Técnico - University of Lisbon, Portugal. Miguel does research in Natural Resources sustainable management and Biodiversity conservation, particularly in the domains of Geospatial analysis (GIS), Ecological Modelling and Ecohydraulics. Currently he's an Invited Auxiliary Researcher at the Centre for Functional Ecology, Department of Life Sciences - University of Coimbra, where he conducts research focused on land use sustainable management, particularly by developing plans and strategies for nature restoration and for the agroecological transition in agri-food systems.
