I am a soil ecologist with research interests centered on soil biodiversity, ecological interactions, and nutrient cycling in tropical and subtropical ecosystems. My research currently focuses on the structure and functioning of soil food webs across three major Brazilian biomes: the Caatinga, the Amazon Rainforest, and the Atlantic Forest. I am particularly interested in how land use, climate, and vegetation influence soil biological communities and ecosystem processes.
