We’re looking for a talented scientist to analyse and integrate data across scales, bridging micro and macroecology to develop sensible and informative indicators of soil health. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research that will shape the future of soil monitoring and sustainability while integrating a multidisciplinary team at the University of Coimbra.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with large datasets on soil health from multiple sources
- Integrate data across local, landscape, and European scales
- Develop and refine key soil health indicators
- Collaborate with experts in ecology, remote sensing, and environmental modelling
Requirement: PhD holder in Environmental Sciences, Biology, and/or Data Science
Contract Duration: Until the end of 2027
Location: Based in the historic and beautiful city of Coimbra with strong collaboration across European institutions
