Since raising environmental awareness among children is a first step towards ensuring a sustainable and accessible future for all, this project included their indispensable role as they, in a creative and fun way, show us their perspectives on topics such as climate action, biodiversity and sustainability. Caring for the planet is within anyone's reach; small gestures can make a big difference.

"Children for the Earth: the podcast from Kids to Adults" is a program coordinated by the UNESCO Chair on Biodiversity Safeguard for Sustainable Development of the University of Coimbra (Sara Santos, Miguel Ferreira, Joana Alves, António Gouveia and Helena Freitas) in collaboration with the Kindergarten of the Social Action Services of the University of Coimbra (Nuno Freitas, Joana Baptista, Joana Vila Nova, Maria João Vicente and Raquel Maricato). This project complies with the UC Privacy and Data Protection Policy for the purposes set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and with the informed consent of the legal representatives of the children participating in the podcast.
