Europe-LAND project annual meeting
The annual meeting of the European project "Europe-LAND - Towards Sustainable Land-Use in the Context of Climate Change and Biodiversity in Europe” took place between June 20th and 21st at the Department of Life Sciences - University of Coimbra.
Europe-LAND's main objective is to develop, test, and implement integrated tools to improve our understanding of the factors underlying European land-use decisions. Additionally, Europe-LAND aims to deepen the awareness and involvement of different agricultural and land-use management actors regarding climate change and biodiversity challenges.
During these productive days, the project delved into the progress made over its first year and the fruitful collaboration between partners and Work Packages, ensuring robust cooperation in the planned tasks.
The CFE-UC team, a partner in this project and coordinated by Helena Freitas, organised this event, which brought scientists from Germany, Greece, Estonia, Denmark, Italy, Romania, Latvia, Slovakia, Austria, Poland, and Czechia to Coimbra.
