PhD position in the EU Horizon Europe project REDUCE

A fully funded PhD position is available at Department of Life Sciences at University of Coimbra to start as soon as possible.

This is an industrially focused PhD project where the student will work at the company DataFish and will be enrolled at the University of Coimbra.

Annual salary will be 23.000€ (before tax).

• Have a Bachelor and/or Master Degree in the areas of Biology, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, or similar areas.
• Be familiar with R, Python, Matlab, or related.
• Be familiar with or able to learn current AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch in the context of HPC.
• Be committed to personal development and can demonstrate to be autodidactic and have organising, problem-solving, and interaction skills.
• Language proficiency in English.
