CFE researchers Ângela Bessa and Isabel Silva received the UC-Life Sciences Award last Friday! This award, awarded annually by the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Coimbra, distinguishes the scientific publications of three young researchers at the beginning of their careers.
Ângela Bessa, researcher at the Forensic Anthropology Laboratory, is distinguished in the Anthropology category with the scientific publication “A soil-based approach on human taphonomy from five Portuguese public cemeteries. Australian Journal of Forensic Sciences”.
Isabel Silva, a researcher at MicroResistLab, was awarded the Biology category for the article “Microplastics accumulate priority antibiotic-resistant pathogens: Evidence from the riverine plastisphere. Environmental Pollution”.
