58th Volunteer Action for the Control of Invasive Plants

The 58th Volunteer Action for the Control of Invasive Plants at Pólo II of the University of Coimbra (UC) will be held on January 18th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Several species of invasive plants are present on the grounds of Pólo II. Most of these species sprout vigorously after cutting, so traditional interventions are ineffective in eliminating them.

That's why getting to work is necessary to help improve a space that belongs to everyone.

Among the activities carried out, the team focuses on removing Acacia dealbata shoots and maintaining native plants planted in 2020. Registration until January 16th.
