The advanced course "Ecoliteracy" will occur between June 3rd and 14th, 2024.
"Ecoliteracy - Literacy for Sustainability and Environment" is an interdisciplinary discipline integrated into the Department of Life Sciences training offered at the University of Coimbra but open to all areas of the academic community.
It is an intensive modular course (2 weeks) taught in English, with contributions from teachers from various UC departments and external guests. It aims to promote the debate of ideas, cooperation between different knowledge areas, and scientific training with a view to active environmental citizenship and the construction of a more sustainable future.
This curricular unit is organized by the UNESCO Chair in Biodiversity and Conservation for Sustainable Development, with the support of CFE.
